Collaborative Law

We are aware of the costs of litigation for our clients, so we develop effective strategies for winning cases quickly and effectively, saving our clients time and resources while protecting their real estate interests. But should a case proceed all the way to trial, we have the skills and experience necessary to obtain the best possible verdict.

"Collaborative law process" means the process in which the parties and any professionals engaged by the parties to assist them agree in writing to use their best efforts and to make a good faith attempt to resolve disputes related to the family law matters as referenced in subdivision (a) on an agreed basis without resorting to adversary judicial intervention. This was the parties have a mechanism to complete their dissolution in a less antagonistic way by virtue of problem solving and cooperation rather than no holds barred litigation.

"The Collaborative Approach helps guide the parties to mutually acceptable resolutions, and can provide parties with complementary resources and dispute resolution methods that are simply unavailable in court." --Ronald M. George, Chief Justice, Supreme Court of California

Collaborative law is a relatively new and modern approach to the divorce process. At Ginzburg & Bronshteyn, APC, we are trained in the Collaborative Law process to assist divorcing couples with a non-litigious divorce. The Collaborative Law process is based on mutual respect and agreement. Each party agrees to work together, outside of court, utilizing their own Collaborative Law attorney, to come to a mutually agreeable divorce settlement. This process is not for every divorcing couple, as it requires communication, full disclosure and a willingness to compromise. Focusing on problem solving rather than blame and accusations, the Collaborative Law process can be a positive end to a bitter situation.

Collaborative law professionals are trained in negotiation techniques and can promote conflict resolution, working toward a common goal of a mutually agreeable settlement, rather than full blown war. We can effectively assist you with a smooth transition from one of the most stressful times in a person's life to the next chapter, while ensuring your rights are protected and represented.

Utilizing our over 20 years of family law experience, we can provide our Collaborative Law clients with the knowledge necessary to come to a mutually beneficial divorce settlement, without court intervention and excessive legal fees. We can provide advice and resolution to complex issues of property division, spousal support, child support, child custody and visitation, in a respectful environment, allowing our clients to be in the driver's seat, not the judge, and obtain an outcome built on compassion and compromise.

Client Reviews
I have recently been involved in a complicate intestate probate case after the death of my brother, an American citizen, and I have fortunately met this great team of two lawyers, Mr. Alexander Ginzburg and Mr. Yasha Bronshteyn from Santa Monica, CA... All communication has been clear, transparent and in time, which is important as a moral support for my family and I. I am hereby recommending them for this kind of job, if someone is seeking for a professional team of probate lawyers, Ginzburg & Bronshteyn is the best option. Florin Oniga
I have frequently consulted with Yasha Bronshteyn on matters related to probate litigation. Yasha is an experienced, aggressive and caring probate court litigator, who specializes in helping families when they have disputes about wills, trusts and conservatorships. Many lawyers like to handle easy, non-contested probate cases. Not Yasha. The more contentious, the more complex, the better. Yasha is a light for his clients when their families are in dark times. I refer my clients to Yasha Bronshteyn without reservation. Adam
Lawsuits are complicated, draining, long, and isolating. Having an attorney you can TRUST by your side during this process is important... Yasha was professional, on point, empathetic, responsive, provided sound legal advice, and made my life easier. With the help of Yasha, what could have been a many years long ordeal was handled in a year. Yasha gets the job done, will not try to maximize his earnings for your suffering, and is truly on your side while representing you. I hope I don't need an attorney again, but I would gladly use Yasha again and trust any recommendations he would have to offer... Nicholas
